Hello and welcome to Danny, Jack and Taco's site!
If you don't know us, we are a Model/Photographer duo that live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We have big dreams of being full time creatives in the fashion industry. One day we realized that unless we want to work for Gap HQ or in Macy's tech center, we should take our talent elsewhere. Since we attend virtually every season of NYFW, it occurred to us that we miiight save some $$$ if we relocated to the very place that calls our name: NYC
THE PROBLEM
As with all creative duos, we have had a turbulent relationship filled with incredible highs and dark lows. After a long time apart, we decided to give it another shot around Christmas. Since we both already had planned to move to NYC, Danny decided to join me and keep me safe as I trek across the United States.
Danny (bf) has been working the gig life as a photographer for the past year, but Jack (gf) just put in her two weeks at the company she had been working at as a marketer for the past three years.
Its scary when you take leaps of faith like that. Even scarier when you're doing it with someone you care about, but the relationship is so fresh.
Will we kill each other? Will we grow closer? Or will we end up unemployed and heartbroken? Who knows!
THE PLAN
We decided that not only did we want to make the ambitious move to NY, we wanted to log our trek across the US. How often do you get a photographer and a model readily available to create content together with almost no distractions? Not often!
On March 16th we will start the journey south towards our friends in Los Angeles (stopping for one quick night at the Madonna Inn), then we will trek across the United States through to Joshua Tree, Sedona AZ, Taos NM, West TX, then down to Jack's hometown of Houston. There we would regroup, then head over to New Orleans, to Atlanta, the Carolinas, DC, then bum badum! NYC!

Right now we are in the process of taping up our boxes and making sure we can actually stuff everything into my mom car. Selling all of our things and unloading old storage units was a task and a half.
We both dreamed of living in NYC full time and creating content with the brands of the big apple. As a creative duo, we are very excited to conceptualize shoots together and with other models.
We don't have a backup plan, or any idea of how this is going to turn out. For us...or our careers.
Soo that's the big question: Are we going to make it?
